Active Membership: Any active member of the State Bar of California whose principal office or residence is located in the County of Marin is eligible to be an active member of the Association.
Associate Membership: Any attorney at law, licensed and in good standing, who is not eligible to be an active member is eligible to be an associate member. Attorneys who are retired or on inactive status with the State Bar, but want to stay connected with the Marin legal community, are also eligible to be associate members.
Associate Student Membership: A person who is enrolled in a law school located in the State of California as a candidate for a law degree, or a graduate of any law school who has not been admitted to practice in any State or Federal District but who intends to take the California Bar Examination within twenty-four (24) months from the date of application, is eligible to be a Associate Student Member of this Association. Associate Student Members have no voting privileges. Please note: To enhance MCBA's support for equal access to justice, we have included in the Membership dues for 2008 a $10 donation to the Marin Justice.
